Here at Wasing we pride ourselves on many things, but our shoot must come close to the top of the list… Our 2010/11 season was a fantastic success, with a jam packed calendar and almost 40 shoot days of varying types. We offer a range of pheasant shooting, from ‘No-Bag’ walk around days, to our fun-filled 50 bird ‘Mini-Driven Days’, and of course our action packed main ‘Driven Days’ of up to 250 birds. With such varied terrain on offer, and around 25 different drives available, we can put together a fantastic day with terrific birds whether rain, snow or bright sunshine – indeed, over the two harsh winters we’ve just come through, and unlike most Estates in the area, we have not cancelled one single day due to adverse weather conditions! All our bags are officially ‘mixed species’ as it is highly unusual for us to end a day without a woodcock or two, or even snipe and wild duck.
Our boutique Stables Lodge also allows us to offer ultimate luxury and comfort alongside our shooting, with both sumptuous accommodation and dining – from hearty English breakfasts, to deliciously warming shoot lunches, and exquisite evening dinners. All in all, we believe we offer an unbeatable package…
