The Estate

The Wasing Estate covers three villages and several thousand acres of prime Berkshire land.
Just one hour from London, in the beating heart of the South East, Wasing is an oasis of calm with winding rivers and narnia-esque wooded lakes supporting an incredible variety of flora and fauna. Under the ownership of the same family, since 1759, Wasing has matured gracefully over 250 years surviving the many crises that have beset country estates in the last two centuries.

Today Wasing has a fine bill of heath - It is not just the landscape that has a dazzling breadth of diversity - and while it still maintains its traditional farming, sporting and property base, the Estate has a striking portfolio of activities and businesses. In recent years, the Estate has further diversified into conservation and fishing, boasting one of the UK’s finest course fishing estates. And our latest venture, at Wasing Park, has been to create the ‘venue of venues’, catering from parties and conferences for 20, to festivals of 20,000.
