The Mount Charity

The Mount Charity was conceived by the late Sir William Mount in 1978. Although national charities are supported, the Mount income mainly goes towards funding local causes.
The majority of funds are raised from the sale of walking and riding permits from providing access along specific routes on the Wasing Estate, along with special events such as cross country runs. The permits run annually from January to December and must be renewed each year for access to be continued.

For any group that wishes to apply for a grant please write to:  The Mount Charity Trustees, Wasing Estate and Farm Office, Wasing Park, Aldermaston, Reading RG7 4NG.
