The Wasing Estate and the organisers of the Glade Festival, an international music and artistic extravaganza, are jointly contributing to the charitable Wasing Glade Fund. The Fund is being administered by the Berkshire Community Foundation (BCF). Grants of up to £300 for small projects and up to £2000 for large projects will be available when the 2008/2009 fund has been established.
Last year £25,000 was donated to numerous projects, ranging from sponsoring the football strip of a local youth club to restoring a church organ.
