Water

We have a lot of water at Wasing. There are approximately 100 acres of lakes, most of which were originally dug as gravel pits. Some are situated within Wasing woods, and the rest are near the River Kennet in the Kennet valley.
In addition to the lakes, we own approximately 4 miles of the River Kennet and 3 miles of the River Enborne. These water based assets are managed for conservation and fishing, containing abundant wildlife, a wide breadth of birds and one of the largest stocks of wild fish in the UK, including Carp, Barbel, Chub, Perch, Trout, Dace, and Tench.
