As well as our pheasant shooting, we offer a small number of afternoons/evenings of wildfowling throughout the season. True wildfowling is a real rarity in this area, and we are very lucky to have over 100 acres of lakes and rivers on the Estate. As with our pheasant shooting, the wildfowling is sold as let days to teams of between 8 and 10 guns, with an average head of between 20 and 30. We have a fantastically diverse range of wildfowl on the Estate, and it’s common to see mallard, teal, tufted & shoveler, snipe & widgeon, and even the occasional goose on a wintry evening. However, our wildfowling is highly coveted, and with so few dates available, evenings are hard to come by!
