The Mount Charity

The Mount Charity has made donations to a variety of local charities and schools, including helping to paint and carry out much needed repairs on Wasing Church.

Set up by the late Sir William Mount in 1978, the majority of funds raised for The Mount Charity are from the sale of walking and riding permits, as well as special events, including cross country runs.

With many permitted routes and public footpaths throughout ancient woodland and around beautiful lakes, Wasing and The Mount Charity have created permit only access routes across 6 ½ miles of the Wasing Estate where members of the public are able to buy a permit to walk and ride horses across the permitted access of exquisitely winding tracks and paths, and all proceeds go to The Mount Charity.

For more information about The Mount Charity or purchasing a permit, please contact the Estate Office on 0118 971 4140. Alternatively, please download the application form below and return to the address detailed.
