The term Forest Bathing comes from the Japanese practice of Shirin Yoku, and leads us into nature in a way that attunes all of our senses, bringing curiosity, peacefulness and time for quiet contemplation. Our magical woodlands offer diverse and ancient trees, from oak to beech to yew, and sacred glades with an array of colours, plants, creatures and fungi through the changing seasons of the year. Taking a slow, mindful walk into the woods, and adding some gentle enquiries along the way, forest bathing connects us to that which is present, and invites you to explore a way of being with the natural world more intimately.
