Wasing’s Pumpkin & Woodland Trail Event
At the heart of stunning Wasing Estate near Aldermaston lies a very special pumpkin patch. Visitors are invited to follow the enchanting decorated woodland trail through Wasing’s stunning autumnal woodland then head for the pumpkin patch where a fairytale pumpkin carriage awaits and where you can choose your perfect pumpkin, nestled in our rustic field left just as nature intended, to take home & carve. Afterwards enjoy tasty seasonal snacks and hot & cold drinks under our beautiful stretch tent.

The pumpkin patch is really AMAZING! Magical, beautiful, the whole trail is well cared (I had no idea about the trail). The pumpkin carriage is one thing apart, we have just returned from Disneyland and my little one was absolutetluy delighted! We went in a day which was supposed to be full (the tickets were sold out for the day) and still no busy at all. Super confortble to walk around and have pictures taken. The food court was great, even with vegan & gluten free options (my case). Definitely returning next year!

Took our grandchildren aged 3 and 6 to this event and they loved it. We came 3 years ago and the trail has grown since then with more to see and do. They loved following the map and ticking things off as they went. They were just the right age to be kept them busy for a good half an hour. Picking their own pumpkins and pushing the barrow was fun too. There are plenty of friendly staff around. The food and drink offering at the end is wide ranging and of good quality. I think the cost is fair for half a day’s activity and I’d recommend for families with children up to about 10.

Absolutely loved our visit here. The farm has made the most of the pumpkin picking trail by giving children hands on activities, things to spot and see, space to run around in and the opportunity to pick out their own pumpkins from the field.
Even the rain didn’t spoil our visit. The outdoor café, under the stretched tent with a warming pumpkin soup, pastry and coffee were all very delicious and not at ridiculously high prices too.

The leafy pathways of the woodland trail lead to Wasing’s pumpkin patch where a fairytale pumpkin carriage awaits. Collect a wheelbarrow – great fun for the little ones to take a ride in! – and find your perfect pumpkin match in Wasing’s patch to take home and carve. Our pumpkin field is just as nature intended. We don’t use any harmful weedkillers and pesticides & invite you to have fun finding your pumpkin amongst the vines and plant life.
