Vision
Solstice at Wasing is a carefully curated ceremony; a celebration to mark our gratitude for life and for the Sun – the giver of all life and energy. After an afternoon of grounding and preparation, surrounded by nature, our ceremony begins. As day becomes night, we gather together around the fire, where through music, dance, song and prayer we honour the earth and her elements, especially fire, and give our thanks for the extraordinary gift of life, culminating in our torchlit procession to Solstice Hill to welcome in the Sun to his longest day.
With the weight of modern life, the constant demands, the endless scrolling, you may feel detached from yourself, from others, and from nature. Through ceremony, music and movement, we hold a space that meets you exactly as you are. You may arrive seeking stillness and support, or ready to open fully into the joy and shared celebration of the season. It’s a time for deep connection where both reflection and high energy are welcome.
Before and after the ceremony there is the space to take time for yourself. A wild swim, nature meditation, connecting with others or to simply be alone with nature, enabling you to prepare, realign and integrate. During the 12-hour ceremony, held by Chris Park, Initiate of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, we come together. From music around the fire in the living sanctuary of our Sacred Glade, to the fiery dawn at the Sunrise Ceremony, we will all navigate a path and a journey together. With the artists holding space together in true ceremony, you can release what no longer serves you, set new intentions, and step into personal growth with clarity and purpose. This is a gathering to reconnect and re-energise, held by nature and our community around you.
Beyond the personal, Solstice at Wasing is a shared celebration of community and unity. We support one another, honour the energy that sustains all life, observe ancestral wisdom and recognise our interconnectedness with all things. Every experience is personal, yet its power is amplified when we embrace it together. It’s a unifying moment that transcends beliefs and reminds us that we all move to the rhythm of the same sun.
Our intimate ceremony is also a spark for creativity and inspiration. Whether you seek fresh perspective or artistic flow, our collective energy ignites imagination. This is a regenerative experience. It’s a bridge from overwhelm to calm, disconnection to belonging, and routine to wonder. It is a chance to move fully into your own attunement with support and intention.
Experiences Shared From Solstice 2025
Most magical of Solstices. From the ceremony to the exquisite live musical performances, we were held in wonder beauty & reverence. Ape Chimba & Anoushka Shankar around the fire was a bit beyond words to describe. We danced laughed and celebrated life held by the Earth & land and the Wasing team. The venue is incredible, the attention to detail land art and atmosphere was stunning. Our experience was transformative and profound. Thank you so so much Wasing team so very much. This will live on in my heart and we will be back.
It gave me a profound sense of mindful community. Place of mutual trust and celebration full of good energy. I will always cherish this special event and kudos to who team who has curated such meaningful space.
Peak experience, highlight of the year and one of the best experiences of my life. Life affirming, healing, absolutely spoiled by the level of musicianship, the overall production and attention to detail. It feels like coming home to the tribe.
Anoushka Shankar around the fire is something I will keep in my heart for a very long time. Exquisite. Stayed by the fire all night, loved every moment. And the morning walk, ceremony and welcoming the sun was all perfect.
A gentle unfolding, like petals opening under the sun. The land, the tribe, the music, the silence… all holding space for the layers to melt. Lit from within, glowing from that sacred remembrance. A real heart-opening, soul-aligning flow. That pure frequency where time bends and everything just is. Love, connection, spirit, truth… all of it woven into the moment. Riding a golden wave right there, riding that peace, grounded in the afterglow where everything’s slower, softer, more real.
The Solstice was absolutely beautiful. A wonderful event created and facilitated by lovely people. I felt blessed to have been part of something so special.
I absolutely loved it. I thought it was really relaxed, friendly, and well-organised. Beautiful venue and spaces, beautiful music, sun ceremony, ecstatic dance. I left feeling on cloud nine.
