The Grade II-listed Castle Barn will be exquisitely styled by talented florists, showcasing elegant seasonal arrangements—from potted hyacinths and hellebores to dried hydrangea heads, moss, and sweet chestnuts freshly foraged from our gardens and woodlands—offering thoughtful inspiration for weaving conscious choices into your special day.
New for this season, delight your guests with thoughtful gifts from your wedding day. Choose from charming mini bottles of Wasing Gin, infused with botanicals gathered from our Walled Garden and Hedgerows. For a sweeter touch, offer pots of Wasing Wild Flower Honey and delicate candles—both lovingly crafted from honey and wax carefully harvested from hives nestled on the Estate.
Three Stunning Ceremony Spaces
- The Garden Room – A newly renovated and characterful civil ceremony space featuring rustic oak beams, aged brickwork, and contemporary walls of glass bi-fold doors that reveal breathtaking views of the Castle Barn. Set within tranquil gardens, it offers a beautifully customisable setting, effortlessly accommodating up to 160 guests.
- The Parish Church of St. Nicholas – A charming 13th-century church set within the grounds of the venue, featuring beautiful stained-glass windows and a sunlit altar, providing a timeless and intimate backdrop for traditional ceremonies of up to 120 guests.
- The Victorian Summerhouse – Say ‘I do’ in the heart of nature, surrounded by flourishing flora and fauna, with a beautifully intricate hand-painted blossom tree mural as your backdrop. This idyllic outdoor space accommodates up to 160 guests, offering a truly breathtaking setting for your special day.
The Castle Barn & Party
At the heart of our Grade II listed venue, lies the stunning Castle Barn, a character-rich blank canvas with soft red brick walls, oak beams, and arrow slits for a truly personalised celebration. With a built-in stage and incredible acoustics, it’s the ultimate reception space for a party to remember. Outside, a flowing stretch tent over the terrace and outdoor kitchen allows for year-round al fresco dining, creating great theatre for all diners as chefs prepare delicious dishes over the fire pit and wood-fired oven. Heated by a biomass boiler fuelled with wood chips from the estate, we blend eco-conscious design with timeless elegance, offering weddings rich in style and immersed in nature.
Couples can enjoy the finest locally sourced cuisine with our estate-to-plate menu, featuring new nose-to-tail offerings made with beef from the Estate’s organic farm. Each dish delivers a sustainable and unforgettable dining experience, showcasing the exceptional standard of our renowned cuisine. We accommodate up to 160 guests for dining, with evening parties welcoming up to 250. Continue the festivities in the Stables Lodge, a decadent post-party bar offering the perfect cosy setting for a nightcap.
Bespoke Accommodation
Wasing Park boasts 26 stylishly appointed bedrooms, sleeping 64 guests, each uniquely designed, with an elegant modern twist in a historical setting. Highlights include the Honeymoon Suite, a spacious former hayloft now home to the biggest bed in Berkshire; The Granary, still standing on its staddle stones, now a luxurious suite with a copper bathtub; The Smithy, the old blacksmiths’ workshop featuring an Emperor bed and a spacious en-suite; and The Dovecote, a magical suite with a custom-made triangular bed and original dove boxes filled with fairy lights.
There are also 17 characterful rooms in the Stables, the Mews, and the Pump House. Kitts Cottage offers complimentary accommodation for the night before the wedding, sleeping 7, and Home Farmhouse, a cosy retreat sleeping 12, which is perfect for groomsmen or families attending extended celebrations. The Groom’s Room is also available on the morning of the wedding; a great space to get suited and booted, and enjoy a pre-wedding tipple before the big day.

Create a destination wedding feel within the UK with bespoke 2-to-3-day wedding experiences. Enjoy extended celebrations with a host of unique activities—from welcome dinners and lakeside yoga to enchanting moonlit performances and cocktail classes set amidst the Estate’s stunning grounds. Think croquet and garden games, Pimm’s-filled picnics in the woodlands, or even a family-and-friends cricket match at Wasing’s Cricket Pavilion—all providing the perfect backdrop for creating lasting memories.
As part of several innovative features designed to captivate and delight couples and their guests, Wasing offers bridal parties exclusive access to its secluded woodland lake—a serene escape into nature before the big day.
