Sound Bath

Next Dates

  • Thursday 18th December 7:30pm – 9pm – Monica Bazzani

Sound healing is an ancient meditation method which can enable participants to take a journey of deep relaxation, healing and self-discovery.

Many of us experience stress and tension in our everyday lives, meaning that we spend too much time activating our sympathetic nervous system, our flight and fight response. Therapeutic sound has profound effects on our parasympathetic nervous system giving ourselves the chance to rest, rejuvenate and ultimately heal.

We work with a collective of Sound Bath Facilitators, who each bring their own unique magic to these deeply relaxing sessions.

Monica Bazzani – Monica is a qualified sound therapist, Reiki Master, and Qigong teacher. • Sunday 1st February 2026 10am-6pm

Whether you are a sound practitioner, musician, or have just felt called by the hypnotic rhythm of drumming, during this special one-off workshop, you will create your very own hand-held frame drum.

Drums such as these are among the oldest known percussion instruments, and are still used today around the world in prayer, ritual, ceremony, healing, and music.

Visy is a musician and woodworker and has been making shamanic drums for 7 years.

For this workshop, Visy will provide the all elements needed to create your very own shamanic drum – the wooden frames are made from sustainably sourced ash, with each frame carefully crafted by Visy.

The skins are made from buffalo hide and responsibly sourced.

Each person will also be gifted with a beater, handmade by Visy using branches foraged from Wasing woodlands, for this workshop.

Visy will guide everybody through the drum making process, step by step, with the group being kept small to ensure individual attention and guidance.

Aftercare will be provided, and Visy will be available for post-workshop drum advice.

We offer two ticket options, you can choose to make either an 18 inch drum, or a 22 inch drum.

This special, one-off workshop will take place at our beautiful studio, The Pavilion, at Wasing Estate.

I have recently made my own drum with Visy and it was the most magical process from the start to finish. So much love and effort went into making my new sacred drum and I love using it in my yoga and sound healing sessions. I am very grateful that I could be part of this process and see it step by step. Visy is very knowledgeable, very passionate about these magical instruments and he pays an attention to detail. I would 100% recommend if you wish to create something magical for yourself.’ – Veronika, Yoga teacher & Sound Practitioner
