Veronika will guide you through a relaxing session of Yin Yoga. Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga, incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine (focusing on connective tissue), with asanas (postures) that are held for longer period of time (between 1-5 minutes) enabling the body to settle fully. We will be connecting with different elements, as well as meridians (channels) in our body.

You will then continue your evening with a relaxing crystal bowl sound healing journey, connecting with your chakras (our energy centres), different frequencies and vibration. Sound creates a beautiful frequency and intent which brings on the healing.

At the end, you will feel grounded, calm and relaxed.

The instruments which will be used through the session:

Crystal Bowls

Koshi Chimes

Tingsha

Ensure that you wear warm, comfortable clothes.

Herbal tea will be served after the session to create the further relaxation in your body and mind.

Sound healing is an ancient meditation method which can enable participants to take a journey of deep relaxation, healing and self-discovery.

Many of us experience stress and tension in our everyday lives, meaning that we spend too much time activating our sympathetic nervous system, our flight and fight response.  Therapeutic sound has profound effects on our parasympathetic nervous system giving ourselves the chance to rest, rejuvenate and ultimately heal.

We work with a collective of Sound Bath Facilitators, who each bring their own unique magic to these deeply relaxing sessions.

Emma Winter - Emma harnesses the alchemy of sound as well as the power of creativity and imagination to facilitate multi-sensory immersive spaces and embodied experiences that allow participants to soar and traverse our planes of consciousness.  Emma’s sonic immersions really encourage participants to allow themselves to release, playfully explore and take a journey of expansion using sound as their guide.

Monica Bazzani – Monica is a qualified sound therapist, Reiki Master, and Qigong teacher. Monica is passionate about sharing sound and its many healing benefits on the body, mind and nervous system, and during the Sound Bath will blend gongs, crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, and other percussion to create a rich, resonant soundscape.

Andy Hobson – Andy is a world-renowned spiritual teacher and professional musician, best known for his warmth, authenticity and sense of humour. Seamlessly combining the healing tones of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, wind chimes, Native American flute, guitar, the calming sounds of nature, and enhanced with ambient digital effects.

Jess - I thought everything you said was super clear and helpful. Thank you for being so open with us as to your experience and journey. 'Thank you from the bottom of my heart for such an amazing day.  The whole day was truly special and undoubtedly one of the very best retreats I've encountered.  You are absolutely incredible individually and utter magic together.  It was also lovely to be surrounded with such a beautiful group of women, it felt like such a safe place to be held and for us to be ourselves. Can honestly say there is not one thing I would change, the day flowed beautifully.  Yoga so nourishing, silent walk beautiful (the changing colours and that mist across the lake), mediation enlightening, food delicious, wild swimming in the frozen lake exhilarating, the lovely lady who helped us all at the lake wonderful and the crystal sound healing - what a finish to the day!  Cannot wait to repeat and already talking to my daughter about coming along.’

Shamanic Drum Making Workshop

Next Dates

Sunday 1st February 2026 10am-6pm

BOOK NOW

Whether you are a sound practitioner, musician, or have just felt called by the hypnotic rhythm of drumming, during this special one-off workshop, you will create your very own hand-held frame drum.

Drums such as these are among the oldest known percussion instruments, and are still used today around the world in prayer, ritual, ceremony, healing, and music.

Visy is a musician and woodworker and has been making shamanic drums for 7 years.

For this workshop, Visy will provide the all elements needed to create your very own shamanic drum – the wooden frames are made from sustainably sourced ash, with each frame carefully crafted by Visy.

The skins are made from buffalo hide and responsibly sourced.

Each person will also be gifted with a beater, handmade by Visy using branches foraged from Wasing woodlands, for this workshop.

Visy will guide everybody through the drum making process, step by step, with the group being kept small to ensure individual attention and guidance.

Aftercare will be provided, and Visy will be available for post-workshop drum advice.

We offer two ticket options, you can choose to make either an 18 inch drum, or a 22 inch drum.

This special, one-off workshop will take place at our beautiful studio, The Pavilion, at Wasing Estate.

The workshop runs from 10am until 6pm and includes plenty of time for breaks, and the day will conclude with a special ceremony led by Visy, to bless the drums and give thanks to the natural world for providing the materials needed to create these unique and bespoke shamanic drums.

'I have recently made my own drum with Visy and it was the most magical process from the start to finish. So much love and effort went into making my new sacred drum and I love using it in my yoga and sound healing sessions. I am very grateful that I could be part of this process and see it step by step. Visy is very knowledgeable, very passionate about these magical instruments and he pays an attention to detail. I would 100% recommend if you wish to create something magical for yourself.' - Veronika, Yoga teacher & Sound Practitioner

Anonymous Retreat Guest

Spending a day immersed in the healing embrace of nature at Wasing was nothing short of transformative. From the moment we stepped into the ancient woodlands, there was an immediate sense of calm and connection.

Anonymous Retreat Guest

The guided Forest Bathing walk was a truly grounding experience—each step inviting deeper presence. We visited sacred spots, lay down on the earth, and allowed ourselves to be held and healed by Mother Nature’s energy.

Anonymous Retreat Guest

The wild swimming lake was invigorating—that first dip took my breath away in the best way! The contrast of the cold water with the warmth of the stunning wood-fired sauna was an incredible experience—awakening the senses, soothing the nervous system, and leaving me feeling at peace.

Anonymous Retreat Guest

Gathering around the fire for a delicious vegetarian lunch was the perfect way to share stories and connect with others. The whole day was beautifully thought out, balancing movement, stillness, warmth, and deep rest. The perfect antidote to the busyness and overwhelm of everyday life.

I left feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply rejuvenated. If you are seeking a day of true rest and recalibration, this experience is an absolute gift to yourself.
