Testimonials

Holly

"We felt very calm, enlightened and invigorated as we went away on Sunday and really pleased with what we had experienced, learnt and achieved! It has now given me the confidence to have cold showers and 'go for it' when thinking about a swim outside! I also have used Dean’s breathing advice before I have fallen asleep and have slept much better! The one time I have woke up at the dreaded 4am, I have used the method he told me and have got back to sleep relatively swiftly and my mind didn’t spiral into any particular worries! Now considering an ice bath for the garden!"

Akos

"It was great to have a bit of a me time and get away from the busyness of everyday life. Thoroughly enjoyed the breatwork session with Dean and the rest of the day too, connecting with others and nature around us. It was a day full of firsts for me but definitely not lasts, as both the morning and afternoon experiences are something im pretty sure will seek for opportunities to do again at some point. Loved the peaceful forest walk / lake swimming / sauna time at the end, I found it was a perfect ending for the day. Both the pavilion and the forest are beautiful parts of the estate and great venues for such retreats."

Laura

"It was really lovely meeting you and Dean. It was such a fantastic day I got so much out of it. I have felt such peace and calm since. I really didn’t expect that feeling or for it to continue (despite a busy week at work). I have endeavoured to do some of the breathing techniques and I am trying to make it a daily practice. You are very special people and I am hoping to return to experience more of your wonderful workshops/retreat days."

Sunday 4th August 2024 3-4.30pm

Friday 30th August 2024 7.30pm-9pm

Sound healing is an ancient meditation method which can enable participants to take a journey of deep relaxation, healing and self-discovery.

Many of us experience stress and tension in our everyday lives, meaning that we spend too much time activating our sympathetic nervous system, our flight and fight response.  Therapeutic sound has profound effects on our parasympathetic nervous system giving ourselves the chance to rest, rejuvenate and ultimately heal.

Our host Emma harnesses the alchemy of sound as well as the power of creativity and imagination to facilitate multi-sensory immersive spaces and embodied experiences that allow participants to soar and traverse our planes of consciousness.  Emma’s sonic immersions really encourage participants to allow themselves to release, playfully explore and take a journey of expansion using sound as their guide.

Attendees will get comfortable in Savasana, be led by Emma on a guided meditation and will then be invited to relax and allow the sound waves to do their thing whilst they sink into the journey.

"The day surpassed all expectations from me and I felt incredibly supported in a very professional and caring environment. I absolutely loved the swim and sauna area and very much enjoyed meeting you and Dean (and Jim). From my point of view I don't think that the day can be improved. Everything was perfect, the itinerary was great and the refreshments delicious. Dean was a brilliant coach, his instruction has given me enormous inspiration and confidence and the tools to incorporate breath work and cold water therapy into my routine. It was a wonderful and very empowering day, thank you again for making it happen."
